Here is a collection of AIM buddy icons for you to use on AOL Instant Messenger. Each is sized to 48x48 pixels and is smaller than 6kb, so they are compliant with AOL's buddy icon requirements. You will need to download these pictures to your hard drive to use them. Simple right-click (or control-click on a Mac if you only have one button), and select "Save Image As..."
