THE LIZVENTURE - PAGE 36 |
"Oh, bother," moaned Lizy to himself, "I'm always the one to get caught in something like this!" And the author agreed that it was most likely true. "You're telling me!" Lizy said. "But it's all the price of being a hero, I suppose. I haven't figured out yet why everyone thinks heroes have it so easy. We're always the ones who have to go save the world and all, and it isn't easy! The villains are always trying to do us in!" Yeah, and people are always overlooking the role of authors, too. Here I've worked about half a year to finish this LizVenture, and I bet the person reading this won't spend more than five minutes here, if even that long! In fact, I doubt they're not even finish reading this part. "Yes I am," snapped the reader. "Hey!" shouted Lizy, "You can't say anything! You're the reader, not the talker! Only the author and us characters in the book can talk! Good grief, the internet's not all it's chalked up to be." You're right. And just for your perseverance and being such a good friend, I'll take you up to the castle now! I'll give you some friends to help out, too. I think they've been in jail for enough time now. Also, remind me to give you a few weeks off.
