The tractor beam slowly pulled them in and docked them in the Castle courtyard. They got ready for a fight against Cruel's troops, but nobody ever came.

"The tractor beam must have been an auto-defense mechanism," commented Newton. "I am beginning to doubt that anybody knows we're here yet. We'd best take advantage of this, then!"

The five headed forward and quietly slipped into the main entrance of the castle. There was nobody there.

"I don't like the looks of this," said Lizy, "We'd best split up and find out what's going on. Chubby, you come with me. We'll search the upstairs. Speedy, Bob, and Newton, you guys check out this floor and take a look in the barracks."

Bob gave Lizy his sword, and they all split their ways and soon began a full scale search of the castle. Lizy and Chubby headed directly to the throne room. It was empty.

"Where in the world could that Cruel be?" Lizy asked himself.

"Try right behind you!" laughed an evil voice.
